A Texas Ranger named David Kingston (Liam Hemsworth) investigates a series of unexplained deaths in an Old West town called Helena. The small town is ruled by a charismatic preacher Abraham (Woody Harrelson) who was a former Confederate officer. However, the routine undercover investigation soon turns personal for the ranger who must solve the case before he loses everything to the mysterious town.
